Swedish band Europe probably doesn't need much introduction. This hard rock band started their career in 1979 under the name Force, but in 1982, after their great success at the Rock-SM contest, they changed their name to Europe. In 1986, they released their 3rd album The Final Countdown, which featured the pivotal hit "The final countdown" completely changes the future of the band and after the departure of guitarist John Norum, the band goes in a different direction than originally intended. However, in 2004, the guitarist John Norum came back and the band got a new hard rock sound, which the band has kept to this day.
